Outdoor-lighting RFQ checklist.

A concise handoff for solar, wired, OEM and specialist-lighting enquiries—designed to reduce assumption gaps before a model is quoted.

1. Name the application

State what must be illuminated and why: road, path, entrance, perimeter, yard, warehouse, façade, vessel, temporary work area or remote equipment. Add the country and site type.

2. Show the geometry

Provide a drawing, marked-up photo or dimensions. Include mounting height, proposed spacing, setback, available bracket or surface, and access for installation and service.

3. Describe the operating profile

Explain when full output matters, whether dimming or motion response is acceptable, and which periods are critical. For solar systems, include location, shading and seasonal constraints rather than assuming one runtime label applies everywhere.

4. Identify the energy interface

For wired systems, state supply and control context. For solar or hybrid systems, describe the site’s charging conditions, load profile, storage priority and any other connected equipment.

5. Record environmental and maintenance needs

Describe exposure, cleaning access, vibration or corrosion context where relevant, and who will maintain the system. Ask Xiuben Lighting to confirm the exact model marking and construction for the project.

6. Define the product boundary

Clarify whether the scope includes only the luminaire or also panels, poles, brackets, fasteners, controls, energy storage, spares, branding and packaging.

7. Match the evidence

List the documents or files needed and why. Confirm the legal entity, product description, exact model, configuration, date, destination and document type. A report for one submitted sample should not be silently extended to a different variant.

8. Agree the sample decision

Write down what will be checked on the sample: identity, appearance, mounting, control behavior, agreed measurements, labels, packaging and supporting records. Carry that approved description into production and inspection.

9. Add commercial and shipping context

Share estimated quantity, desired sample or delivery timing, destination, preferred shipment basis and any inspection handoff. Ask for the current response rather than relying on an old marketplace listing.

10. Keep the open questions visible

An explicit unknown is safer than an invented answer. Close each load-bearing question in the quote, drawing, sample record or order description before scaled production.
