A small, static website with a local enquiry builder.

This website avoids analytics tags, advertising trackers and a server-side contact database.

What the website does

The site serves static pages and images. The project and delivery enquiry forms compose text in your browser. The email and WhatsApp buttons open drafts in those applications; the copy button puts the generated text on your clipboard. You review and choose whether to send it.

Page and source details in enquiry drafts

Email, WhatsApp and copied enquiry drafts include the current page and, when available, the page, configuration or design reference from which you opened the enquiry and your first landing page. An exact selected configuration, a shortlist of two or three configurations, or a published design-reference name carries between the project and delivery forms while the product field still matches that selection. Shortlisted names are displayed beside the product field and included in your draft. Editing or clearing the field removes the selection and its originating fragment; retyping the name does not restore the selection.

The first-entry source is a broad category such as Google, ChatGPT, email, referral or direct. Recognised campaign links may also add category labels for the medium and campaign. The site uses a fixed list of labels: unknown tracking text becomes “other,” and unrecognised external referring sites become “referral.” Attribution does not retain arbitrary tracking values, referring-page addresses or private query text.

These first-entry details are kept in sessionStorage for the current browser-tab session. Internal enquiry links also carry the recognised page, configuration or design-reference selection and first-entry details in their URL. If tab storage is unavailable, other internal navigation links carry the first-entry details too. This helps preserve context as you browse, but cannot connect a separate visit without either stored or carried details. Attribution does not save the information you type into the forms. The page and source details are visible in your draft before you send it.

Sharing a solar flood-light shortlist

The shortlist link contains two or three public catalogue reference IDs and a catalogue revision in the part after the # symbol. It excludes project notes, contact details and first-entry source details. Opening it displays current listed details; a changed catalogue revision is flagged. Unknown or removed references are rejected. Copying the link and printing a reference brief happen in your browser and do not send an enquiry. Your browser or printing service handles any print or PDF output you choose to save.

What the website does not add

This website does not include a Xiuben Lighting analytics script, advertising pixel, account system, online checkout or server-side enquiry submission. The site does not set a cookie or persistent browser identifier.

Hosting and ordinary network records

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like other hosting and network providers, Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. Your email or WhatsApp provider processes any message you choose to send.

Information you choose to send

If you email or WhatsApp Xiuben Lighting, the company receives the information in your message and attachments so it can respond to the enquiry, prepare a technical or commercial reply, and keep relevant business records. Do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the project.

External communication

Email and WhatsApp links open services controlled by you or their providers. Their privacy practices are separate from this static website.
